[NFBNJ] Dissolvement of the NFBNJ Capital Chapter

Greetings NFBNJ Members and Family:

I wanted to share with you the news that, effective last Saturday, June 15,
2024, the Capital Chapter of the NFBNJ has been dissolved.


After an extended period of time of the chapter not supporting President
Partyka, the affiliate and our national center in addition to exhausting
all efforts by President Partyka and the Affiliate it was unanimously voted
last week by the board of directors to dissolve the chapter. This was not
an easy decision, and an email was sent to the membership announcing their
dissolvement.


Also, taken into consideration the president and treasurer indicated that
they would not be running for re-election after many terms in those
positions.


Those Capital members who have already paid 2024 dues are still a member of
the affiliate without paying additional dues for this year.


Individuals are encouraged to join the affiliate or another chapter moving
forward. The assets of the Capital Chapter have been merged with those of
the affiliate.


Rather than continue a chapter that obviously does not endorse or support
the NFB and NFBNJ, it sometimes becomes necessary to dissolve them.
