 I can feel the magic of our upcoming convention in the air! The National
Federation of the Blind of New Jersey’s 48th Annual State Convention –
Don't Stop Believing is being held from Thursday, October 24 through
Sunday, October 27, 2024. There is a lot of information in this email and

Donated Auction Baskets

Our annual auction, which raises funds for the work we do as an affiliate,
is set for a single time block on Friday, October 25 from 7:00 to 8:30 PM,
following our Federation Family Dinner. Bring your cash, checkbook, or
credit card to bid on items of varying values. Everyone, budget-conscious
or not, is bound to find a treasure to take home! Donated auction items are
welcome and can be dropped off in the Studio Room when it is open for
registration and packet pick-up. For assistance or additional information

Donated door prizes are welcome and can be dropped off in the Studio Room

Convention Rookie Round-Up

Whether this is your first NFB of NJ Annual State Convention or not we
highly recommend all conventioneers join us for an important Rookie
Round-Up. Daily Schedule and events are new this year. In addition, you
will meet our National Rep Patti Chang, Denise Avant, Chair Membership
Committee NFB HQ, Stephanie Cascone, NFB Director of Communications and
Zack Ledford NABS National Rep.

Hotel and Reservation Reminder

The convention will be held at: Crowne Plaza Edison 2055 Lincoln Highway
Edison, NJ 08817. The hotel is accessible by NJ Transit Access Link or from
the Edison rail station on the Northeast Corridor line. The hotel has no
shuttle service so train travelers will need to take a short Uber or Lyft
ride from the rail station.

   - Block name is NFB

   - Cutoff date is 5 PM Fri, Oct 4
   - 24 Hours Cancellation Required
   - $119 per night for 1 to 4 occupants plus taxes
   - No deposit is required and is now open
