NFBNJ Membership Webpage Maintenance & Onboarding Update

Dear Members and Friends,



The National Federation of the Blind of New Jersey (NFBNJ) Membership
webpage is temporarily down for maintenance as we align our process with
the National Office’s onboarding policy. This change will help ensure new
members are entered into the NFB Membership Portal, receive their
membership coin, and stay connected with communications from our national
leaders. It will also provide resources to learn about the NFB and
the NFBNJ before becoming a member.



*What’s changing*



·       Individuals will apply for membership with the affiliate or the
chapter of their choice.

·       The chapter president will assist with the application onboarding
process and the necessary steps before dues are paid.

·       The chapter will vote on its membership.

·       Upon becoming a member, they will be added to the NFB Portal, the
NFBNJ Membership Roster, and the distribution list—making the process
smoother going forward.



Additional details will be shared during the Convention Affiliate Business
Meeting.

The renewing membership process will remain the same and will be available
again soon. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience
and understanding.
