[NFBNJ] IMPORTANT: Editing and Updating Your NFB Membership Profile

Dear Member,



The National Federation of the Blind has created a *Member Profile system*
that allows current members to easily and securely update their contact
information and preferences.

Through the Member Profile, members can:

   - Update their street address
   - Change their email address
   - Update their phone number
   - Correct any information that may have been entered incorrectly during
   onboarding

*Accessing Your Member Profile*

   - Your *username is the email address associated with your membership*.
   - If two members share the same email address, *only one profile will be
   created*. For example, if John and Sally Smith share an email address,
   only Sally will have a profile.
   - If you are unsure which email address is associated with your
   membership, your chapter membership coordinator can provide it.

*Setting or Resetting Your Password*

If you did not activate your profile using the email link previously sent,
please follow these steps:

1.   Go to *www.nfb.org <http://www.nfb.org>*

2.   Select the *“Members”* link

3.   Enter your username (your email address)

4.   Select *“Reset Password.”*

5.   Follow the instructions sent to your email to set your password

Once logged in, any updates you make to your profile will take effect
*immediately*.
