[NFBNJ] ​IMPORTANT: Hotel Room Block Requires Convention Registration — Critical Reminders Heading into the Weekend

Greetings, Federation Family and Friends,


As we head into the weekend, we want to make sure everyone knows several
important registration and hotel reminders for the *2026 National
Federation of the Blind of New Jersey 50th Anniversary State
Convention*, *October
21–25, 2026, at the Tropicana Atlantic City.*

*IMPORTANT FOR THOSE WITH HOTEL RESERVATIONS*

*Having a hotel reservation in the NFB of NJ convention room block does NOT
replace convention registration.*

If you have secured a room through our convention hotel block, *you must
also complete your convention registration by the October 7 deadline.*
Hotel rooms in the convention block are intended for registered convention
attendees. *If you have a room in the convention block but do not complete
your convention registration, we will not honor your room as part of the
convention room block.*

If you have already reserved your hotel room, please take a moment to make
sure you have also completed your convention registration.

*PRE-REGISTRATION DEADLINE: OCTOBER 7 AT 5 PM*

Pre-registration closes *Wednesday, October 7, at 5 PM.*

Please do not wait until the last minute. You can only purchase meals
during pre-registration, and they will NOT be available for purchase
at* on-site
registration.*

If you plan to attend any of our convention meals—including breakfasts,
boxed lunches, the Thursday Pasta Bar, Friday Family Dinner, or Saturday
Banquet—you must purchase your meals before the October 7 deadline.

If you have already registered but would like to add or update your *preferred
meal selections*, you can return to the registration form and select
the *“Already
Registered”* option to make those selections.

After the deadline, on-site convention registration will be *$50* and will
not include the opportunity to purchase meals.

*IMPORTANT REMINDER ABOUT BUS TICKETS*

If you intend to use the convention buses *for only one direction of
travel—either TO the convention or FROM the convention—you still need to
purchase a one-way bus ticket.*

Please purchase the appropriate bus ticket if you plan to use convention
transportation in either direction.

*HOTEL RESERVATIONS — LIMITED AVAILABILITY*

Our convention room block has been extended to include *Friday and Saturday
nights*, but availability is limited and is not guaranteed.
