Jersey Connection Day*.

Jersey Chapter* and the *North Jersey Shore Group*, build new friendships,
reconnect with former members, and discover how becoming involved with the
National Federation of the Blind of New Jersey can make a difference in
your life and your community.

.

Live outside these counties? *You are still welcome!* Come meet us, learn
more about the Federation, and we will help connect you with an NFB of NJ
chapter or group in your area.
*What Will We Talk About?*
During Connection Day, you will have an opportunity to:
- *Learn who we are:* Discover more about the National Federation of the
Blind and the National Federation of the Blind of New Jersey.
- *Explore what it means to be blind:* Hear directly from blind people
who are living full and active lives and demonstrating that blindness does
not have to define our opportunities.
- *Discover why membership matters:* Learn about the value of belonging
to a community of blind people, families, and supporters who share
experiences, information, encouragement, and resources.
- *Make a difference locally:* Find out how our chapters and groups work
to expand opportunities, accessibility, independence, and equality for
blind people throughout New Jersey.
- *Find your place in the Federation:* Explore ways to get involved,
share your talents, develop leadership skills, advocate for change, and
strengthen our movement.
- *Build lasting connections:* Meet blind individuals, families,
friends, and community members from Central Jersey and surrounding areas.
Whether you have *never attended an NFB of NJ meeting*, are a *current
member*, or *have not participated for some time*, *we want you to join us!*
You do not have to navigate blindness alone. Through our local chapters and
groups, we share experiences, exchange information and resources, advocate
for change, develop leaders, build friendships, and work together to create
greater opportunities for blind people.
