You might also try Ada Banks. )however, I believe she got married, and don’t remember her married name.)

Hope this helps.

Friends in the Foundation,

Tracey Frost

From: NFBNJ [mailto:nfbnj-bounces@nfbnet.org] On Behalf Of ken lawrence via NFBNJ
Sent: Tuesday, July 26, 2016 9:13 AM
To: nfbnj@nfbnet.org
Cc: ken lawrence <kenlawrence124@aol.com>
Subject: [NFBNJ] looking for names.

Hi listers ken here during the 75 days of action I had put some names of old school friends by Joe and he didn’t recognize any of them but am hoping there are some people in the affiliate that may recognize them. a couple who I want to try to get into alex’s cerebral palsy group and a couple I’d like to get into the braille and technology devisions. BTW I hope if you aren’t in them yourselves yet you join em there, see shameless plug from braille devision board member ken Huh? anyway the first two names are candidates for the cerebral palsy devision and I can’t locate them through the matheny school in peapack or the maryland school for the blind in baltimore or new york institute for special education. do any on list know the names Terry Zimmerman, or Denise last name spelled either L A S C O or L A S K O? both are totally blind and like me have physical impairment. Denise went to the matheny school with me and later on went to and graduated from New york institute. she was in a wheelchair and walked with crutches I think but last I saw of her was at camp marcella during that first two week period when multiple handicapped were at camp during those first two sessions. it was her last time being at camp as she was 16 that year in 1973. Terry, didn’t require any aid to walk like a support cane but she was also totally blind. she lived in south jersey, as she was one of the first off of the NJ bus that the commission had chartered for MSB students. that first stop in a town called Deepwater exit 3 of the turnpike. Denise last I knew lived in maplewood the next three names are from maryland school for the blind and Oakhill school for the blind in hartford. I know if he is on this list, Paul agustonelli knows one of them. last known to be living in monmouth county he went to maryland school with me for two years and later went to the perkins school where paul would know him. his name was Rick Triano. I think he lived in long branch and if memory serves he went to brookdale. not sure of that but he also is blind or at least a braille reader. next also from maryland school for the blind and later from Oakhill in hartford is a former NFB member. she was in the defunked monmouth county chapter late 80s/early 90s and last known to be living in ocean grove her name is Ella mae swenson maybe it’s ella may with a Y. not a braille reader but perhaps a wonderful candidate to get back active in NFB again. maybe flaurence knows her Huh? the last name I’m looking for is named Gail or maybe Gayle York. she was about 10 years older than me when I attended classes at the maryland school for the blind and I believe she graduated that year of 1972. the friends from the maryland school for the blind group on Facebook knew the name and someone had suggested the last they had heard was she was living in california. I wonder if she’s in a chapter out there. does anyone know these names and where they are now? hope to find them and let’s go build the federation!
