<DIV>is some information that will be needed for the highly anticipated

<DIV>order for us to have the correct amount of wristbands you must confirm

<DIV>you are coming with the amount of guests and family members that will
be
in</DIV>
<DIV>attendance. Below is the information about the event, including
the</DIV>
<DIV>location, time and access link.This year we have 100 spots available
for</DIV>
<DIV>surfers and currently as of today there are still 50 spots left. Share
this</DIV>
<DIV>event with your friends who are legally blind and would like to</DIV>
<DIV>register.Send them to surfingforvision.org <<A

<DIV>Parking: There are a limited amount of parking passes if you are going
to</DIV>
<DIV>be driven.- Let us know if you need a parking pass and we will get back
to</DIV>
<DIV>you to let you know if there is one available. There will be
information</DIV>
<DIV>later involving more parking in the area.- Participation: Participants
will</DIV>
<DIV>be able to participate in wave running rides as well.Family Member
will</DIV>
<DIV>also be able to participate in wave running rides and surfing
lessons.</DIV>
<DIV>Guests will be able to participate in wave running rides based on</DIV>
<DIV>availability. - When: The 3rdnd Annual Surfing for Vision event
is</DIV>
<DIV>scheduled for Saturday August 18th, 2018 with a weather/rain date of
Sunday</DIV>
<DIV>August 19, 2018. - The VEF website

) will be your sole source the</DIV>
<DIV>morning of the event for conditions and/or weather related event</DIV>
<DIV>cancelation notifications.- Where: The City of Long Branch has
agreed
to</DIV>
<DIV>sponsor this year’s Surfing for Vision by designated the Long Branch
North</DIV>
<DIV>Beach and “Great Lawn” areas for the event. The “Great Lawn location
offers</DIV>
<DIV>direct beach access along with a pavilion with rest rooms, a stage,
seating</DIV>
<DIV>pic-nic area.. - North Beach and the “Great Lawn” is located between
Ocean</DIV>
<DIV>Place and Rooney’s- Registered surfers, their family members and
guest</DIV>
<DIV>participants will sign-in, complete release waivers and receive wrist
bands</DIV>
<DIV>between 8:00-11:00 a.m. at the Great Lawn Beach Entrance. All
event</DIV>
<DIV>attendees must have a wrist band and will be allowed free direct access
to</DIV>
<DIV>the beach events through the Great Lawn Beach Entrance. -
Transit:
It</DIV>
<DIV>appears, that North Beach is “Access Link” accessible, as our
research</DIV>
<DIV>indicates there is NJ transit bus stop at Ocean Blvd and Laird
Street. -</DIV>
<DIV>From the bus stop: 5 minute walk to beach: walking north to Madison Ave
up</DIV>
<DIV>to beach then left to Great Lawn Beach Entrance.- For Access Link: Use
100</DIV>
<DIV>Ocean Ave N, Long Branch NJ 07740 (Rooney’s) for Access Link address
-</DIV>
<DIV>Note: Ocean Ave not Blvd when giving access Link the address to be
dropped</DIV>
<DIV>off. This address will get you up to the beach where you need to be for
the</DIV>
<DIV>event.- Other: Food, beverage, lunch will NOT be provided for
participants</DIV>
<DIV>or attendees. However, you can bring a cooler on the beach and to the
Great</DIV>
<DIV>Lawn area. There are also places to eat along the beach front in
walking</DIV>
<DIV>distance. The Surfer for Vision event is free however, VEF will be
holding</DIV>
<DIV>a raffle, accepting donations, and we’ll be selling event tee shirts.
Our</DIV>
<DIV>event is free, however these funds go towards other such events. There
is</DIV>
<DIV>no obligation but everyone doing a little is appreciated. Let’s keep
it</DIV>
