<DIV>Happy summer! I hope you are well. I wanted to introduce you to
GreenDrop's
new "Recycle for Charity" Apartment Program. I really think such a green
initiative could be great for the NFB to generate consistent
donations.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>GreenDrop’s Recycle For Charity Apartment Program is a free service
amenity
that residents love, helps the NFB, reduces trash disposal costs and
delivers environmental benefits. We are underway, ready to deliver GreenDrop
containers. It’s a great, green initiative for residents to give back
to
help the visually impaired (not to mention de-clutter and keep items out of
landfills).</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>How it works is GreenDrop would place an attractive, easy-to-use,
indoor
container in an indoor common area for residents to conveniently donate
gently
used clothing and household items. A uniformed GreenDrop driver with a
GreenDrop
truck would empty the container on a predetermined schedule and/or whenever
requested by management.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>We have begun rolling out this program and have had luxury apartment
communities choose our other partner charities: the American Red Cross, the
Purple Heart and St. Vincent de Paul. I’d really like to get this program
going
with apartment communities choosing the National Federation of the Blind as
the
benefitting charity! Each apartment property chooses ONE of our charities to
have all donations benefit and the charity logo is placed on the
container.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>For your reference, I have attached images of containers that are
already
in a PA apartment communities that show the Red Cross, Purple Heart and St.
Vincent de Paul logos on the donation container. I have also attached
a
flyer that explains how the program works with an image of the
container.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Please let me know your thoughts on this and if you can help or give
advice
so we can land some GreenDrop containers in nice apartment communities in
New
Jersey for the NFB. Thank you!</DIV>
