<DIV>You’re invited… The National Federation of the Blind of New Jersey
Sports</DIV>
<DIV>and Recreation Division invites all to participate in our “Asbury
Park</DIV>
<DIV>Boardwalk Day” located at the Asbury Park Convention Hall, 1300
Ocean</DIV>
<DIV>Avenue, Asbury Park New Jersey set for *Saturday, July 27th from 11 am
to
4</DIV>
<DIV>pm;* advanced registration is required. It will be fun to just spend
time</DIV>
<DIV>getting to know each other and getting some exercise along the
oceanfront.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Activities will include walking the boardwalk, having lunch along the
way</DIV>
<DIV>then enjoying an ice cream before returning together to the Access
Link</DIV>
<DIV>pick-up spot. Each participant is responsible for their own
expenses,</DIV>
<DIV>including transportation and food.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Participants requiring individual or one on one assistance are required
to</DIV>
<DIV>bring their own aid or SSP who must be 18 years or older; aids or
SSP’s</DIV>
<DIV>will not be counted as a participant. There will be an option on
the</DIV>
<DIV>registration form indicating assistance provided by you and their name
for</DIV>
<DIV>our records. There will also be an option on the registration form for
your</DIV>
<DIV>family or friends to join in; registered participants are responsible
for</DIV>
<DIV>their invited minors.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Again, walking is involved so wear comfortable clothes and shoes,
bring</DIV>
<DIV>water and snacks and be prepared to get your 7,500 steps in –
that</DIV>
<DIV>translates to approximately 3 miles. Access Link participants
should</DIV>
<DIV>allocate enough time for an 11 am arrival by estimating your pick up to
be</DIV>
<DIV>at the end of your window, additional drop offs or pickups along the
way</DIV>
<DIV>and Jersey Shore traffic.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Participants arriving after 11 am will be required to meet up with
the</DIV>
<DIV>group independently and anyone leaving earlier than 4 pm will also
be</DIV>
<DIV>required to meet their vehicle independently.</DIV>

Avenue</DIV>
<DIV>What to bring: whatever will make you comfortable such as drinking
water,

<DIV>hat, sunscreen, a snack, etc.</DIV>

<DIV>will be a maximum of 10 participants. When the first 10 registrations
have</DIV>
<DIV>been received, we’ll start a waiting list.</DIV>
