Scholarship Program</b> is one of the largest in the nation for blind students.
Each year, the NFB awards <b style="">more than $300,000 in cash and prizes</b> to
recognize the academic achievement, leadership, and professional aspirations of
blind scholars.</font></div>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 8pt;line-height:107%"><span style="line-height:107%"><font face="tahoma, sans-serif" size="4">Thanks to our generous partners, <b>thirty $10,000
merit-based scholarships</b> are currently available. Scholarships are awarded
based on <b>academic excellence, community service, and leadership</b>.
Finalists are announced each spring and are invited to attend the <b>NFB
National Convention in July</b>, where scholarship recipients are selected.
Finalists receive assistance to attend the convention.</font></span></p>

Rico</font></span></li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 8pt;line-height:107%"><span style="line-height:107%"><font face="tahoma, sans-serif" size="4">Be <b>18 years of age by July 3, 2026</b></font></span></li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 8pt;line-height:107%"><span style="line-height:107%"><font face="tahoma, sans-serif" size="4">Be pursuing or planning to pursue a <b>post-secondary degree
program</b> full-time in fall 2026</font></span></li>

and medical needs may require some students to enroll part-time. The
application includes an opportunity to share additional context with the
