Furthermore, Democracy Live is providing a telephone script for our members to use, and the script identifies the caller as a member of the National Federation of the Blind. This is inappropriate messaging that may be interpreted as an endorsement of the system by the Federation, or potentially perceived as a threat to the state election officials. Please do not encourage any members to participate in this initiative. We are currently in the process of evaluating the accessibility of this system; and as with other voting machines, web interfaces, and interventions, we will inform our members and the general public of our findings.
