<html><head><meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html charset=us-ascii"></head><body style="word-wrap: break-word; -webkit-nbsp-mode: space; -webkit-line-break: after-white-space;">The Rose City Chapter is pleased to be able to offer assistance for up to five chapter members of $100 each to attend the 2014 National Federation of the Blind of Oregon State Convention, November 7 - 9, 2014 at the Ramada Inn near Portland Airport.<br><br><b>Q. Who is eligable?</b><br>A. Members of the Rose City Chapter as of September 22, 2014 with 2014 dues paid.<br>.<br><br><b>Q. What do I have to do to apply?</b><br>A. Send an email to Kirk Wagner, <a href="mailto:kwagner8197@gmail.com">kwagner8197@gmail.com</a>, Rose City Chapter President. Explain the reasons why you want a scholarship. <span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space: pre;"> </span> Describe your participation in the chapter and what you think you would get and give to the convention. <br><br><b>Q. How will I know if I am selected?</b><br>A. We will notify you by email and be sure you have your funds in time to register for the convention.<br><br><b>Q. What are my responsibilities at convention?</b><br>A. Register for the convention and stay both Friday and Saturday nights at the Ramada Inn, the convention hotel. You are encouraged to attend convention sessions beginning Friday afternoon and scheduled through noon on Sunday. It is expected you would attend Sessions on Saturday, including the banquet Saturday evening and the business meeting Sunday morning.<br><br><b>Q. After receiving my check, what if I cannot attend or do not fulfill the responsibilities stated here.</b><br>A. You would be expected to refund the money to the chapter. <br><br><b>Q. What is the deadline for applying?</b><br>A.
