Member's Seminar

February 10-11, 2018

Hilton Garden Inn

3528 Gateway Street, Springfield

 

We will be holding a Member's Seminar beginning at 2 PM on Saturday,
February 10th. Topics for discussion will be:

            2018 BELL Academy

            National Convention

            State Convention

            Legislative Agenda for 2019

            

What you need to know:

 

Hotel

Rooms rates are $105 per night.  This includes a full made-to-order
breakfast.  Reservations must be in by January 19th, and are to be made
through the State Office, either by phone or email.

 

Meals and Registration

Registration and dinner for Saturday night is $25.  

 

Requests for National Convention Assistance

Members wishing to attend the National Convention in Orlando, Florida July
3-8, may request financial assistance from the State Affiliate.  Letters of
request must be emailed to me no later than February 9th.  Letters must
include the following:

            Description of your involvement in the NFB

            Previous attendance to the National Convention

            Assistance you are requesting

If you have never attended a National Convention, you will want to apply for
a Jernigan Fund Grant from the National Organization.  Applications can be
found on the website, www.nfb.org
