That sounds really doable! And a great use of the space. How high off of the ground will the tape run?

Sounds good and sensible to me.

Hello all, I hope the following is not incomprehensible. I’d like your opinion on the maze design. I have thought of several designs but think that this one is good enough without being way too repetetive. Basically you go through something like the snake in front of airline counters when there are lots of people in line. Please comment. We have bought exactly 25 garden stakes, and this design needs 25. So anything more means we have to go back to the lumber yard. We have been promised plenty of tape, so that is no concern.

Maze is 20 feet long and 16 feet wide, has three double backs.

Course is: Enter on left, walk to back at 20 feet, double back to right and walk back to front, then double back to left and walk to back again, then double back to right and walk to front and out

Left wall runs from 0_0 to 0_20 with 5 posts at 0_0 0_5 0_10 0_15 and corner post at 0_20

Back wall runs from corner post at 0_20 to 16_20 with 4 posts at 4_20 8_20 12_20 and another corner post at 16_20. Note that the post at 8_20 is end of second inside wall

right side wall runs from 16_0 to the corner post at 16_20 with 4 posts at (corner post) 16_0 16_5 16_10 16_15

front wall runs from 4_0 to 12_0 with 3 posts at 4_0 8_0 12_0 note that entrance is between 0_0 and 4_0 and exit between 12_0 and 16_0. Also both 4_0 and 12_0 are corner posts conecting to the first and third inside walls.

first inside wall runs from 4_0 to 4_15 with 3 posts at 4_5 4_10 4_15

second inside wall runs from 8_5 to 8_20 with 3 posts at 8_5 8_10 8_15

third inside wall runs from 12_0 to 12_15 with 3 posts at 12_5 12_10 12_15

Total 25 posts

Total length of tape needed is 109 feet
