[NFBO-Linn-benton] Nova Robot for Upcoming Meeting?

Hi All:

I met with individuals from Nova today to test Dax, a robot prototype that
is designed for deliveries. We worked on helping DAX learn how to react when
encountering a guide dog team or a cane user.

 

Nova is interested in knowing more about what potential opportunities he
could help with for blind people as well as more feedback from blind
individuals on creating successful encounters with Dax.

 

I mentioned our meetings and they are interested in the opportunity to
attend and talk with us.

 

Would this be of interest to the chapter? If so, would I have the go-ahead
to invite them either to the February or April meeting (assuming we aren't
meeting March because of the member's seminar?).
