Hi,
I wondered if anyone had some time to help me download zoom perperly?  My telephone number is 541-207-3730.  Kristen was helping me on Sunday and we ran into a roadblock.  Any help would be appreciated

  Thanks again to everyone’s encouragement regarding Zoom.  I have figured out my security concerns on my end now, and all is well.  I will send the invitation to all of those who indicated they wish to join the call on Monday.  I believe I mentioned the wrong time for our meeting – we are now meeting at 6:30.  Please send an email if you haven’t already done so to join.

  Also, if you are interested in a practice session for using Zoom, I can meet with anyone who wants to practice tomorrow, Sunday, at 1:30 pm.  Please let me know if you’d like to join for that so I may send you a specific invitation for logging on.

  Hi Kristen,

  I have practiced recording with my daughter using the free Zoom, where she is the host, and she goes into the list of participants and clicks on my name, and then clicks on “allow recording”. Then I click my record button, which then starts recording immediately. The button splits into 2, one is pause. and the other is stop.  I can just hit the stop button when wer’re finished, and then the file comes into my document library  in a few different formats; mp3, mp4 and audio only.  I think this should work just fine.  What do you think?

  Thanks for info on Zoom recording.  I prefer to leave my recording turned off.  It is so my mediation Zoom calls can be kept unrecorded due to confidentiality requirements.  I am asking Sally if she has a way to record  other than through Zoom.  If not, I will turn on the record feature for her.  It is definitely better for me if Sally can take notes or record independently from me, so I will wait to hear from her about what she needs.  Thanks again for trying to help everyone!

  Kristen, the host can record the zoom session by just asking it to do so. Even with the free one I think.

  Do you have a reliable way to record or take notes during the Zoom call, or do you need me to record and figure out how to get it to you?  I have that turned off in my settings due to confidentiality requirements right now.

  Hello all. I append the Treasurer’s report for both the April and May meetings below. Sorry to be tardy (again). Sally reminded me about the report several weeks ago and I told her I was struggling with accessing the account records on the OS Credit Union site. Well I got a lot of activity going there to improve accessibility. In the meantime they did point out that I could get the statements by tabbing only about 50 times. I now have them, and the report is below. I accidentally overpaid the state last year, so Kirk needs to tlel me how much of our dues is to go to him. We currently have 12 paid-up members. See you on Monday.

  Treasurer Report for April 2020 meeting

  as of March 1, balance in treasury was $2,545.14

  March 3 - Deposited $15 for dues from Sally, Arona, Kristen 

  No further activity in March

  Balance on April 1 $2,469.14
