[NFBO-Linn-benton] City Council update

Hello All,

 

We had 4 people testify last night and one person submit written testimony.
The testimony was powerful and got the attention of the City.  We are
sending follow up responses to a reporter who was there and had received our
press statement prior to the meeting.  The City Council is reaching out to
the County to find out what is happening and to see if they can help.  Not a
slam dunk, but they are distressed by what we are saying and have made this
a priority, which is an awesome accomplishment on our part.  Thanks very
much to John Gardner who is carrying quite a load on this.  Much gratitude
to the Disability Equity Center who has partnered  in this effort.
