Kristen, I used to ride the bus when I was still going to my OSU office - which would be nearly 20 years ago. At that time they had no automatic thing to tell the stops. The drivers usually remembered to tell me when I got to my stop but not always. But 20 years ago will not be useful. Exscept that I did ride the bujs successfully and had few complaints at that time.

Subject: [NFBO-Linn-benton] feed back on regular route bus system in Corvallis

Hi All,

I am giving a presentation at the Rotary Club on Friday about accessibility issues for blind people in Benton County. Does anyone ride the regular route busses? I'm looking for info on how they are following accommodations guidelines - do they announce stops regularly? Do their automatic announcers function clearly? Do the drivers pull to the curb and tell you which bus they are at the rrnsfer station? If you are willing to talk with me, call the number below or email me at kjocums at icloud.com<mailto:kjocums at icloud.com>.
Thanks!
