Subject: Upcoming Winter Events with Northwest Association for Blind
Athletes
Hello SWV Athletes,
We are cruising into December! I hope everyone is doing well and ready to
transition into our winter events! Here is the event lineup through the
beginning of February so you can start planning which events you would like
to attend.
We will be having events in the Southern Willamette valley the first weekend
and third weekend of every month. Please read the list in its entirety for
details about upcoming events.
I am excited about having a full schedule of events and I hope you are too.
Be sure to read through the email to get all the information and let me know
if you would like to sign up for an event. Some of the events will fill up,
so be sure to register early to confirm your spot. If you have already
signed up, I have you on the registration list.
Upcoming Events:
Broomball Clinic at Bob Keefer Center in Springfield, OR
* Saturday, December 17th from 12:00 - 2:00 pm
* Similar game to floor hockey
Swimming Clinic at Osborn Aquatic Center in Corvallis, OR
* Sunday, December 18th from 5:00 - 7:00 pm
Youth Broomball Clinic at Bob Keefer Center in Springfield, OR
* Saturday, January 7th from 12:00 - 2:00 pm
* Open to Athletes 18 and under
Beginner Snowshoe at Trillium Lake in Government Camp, OR
* Sunday, January 8th from 12:00 - 2:00 pm
* Transportation to and from Salem, OR (combined event with Portland
Athletes)
Beginner Snowshoe at Trillium Lake in Government Camp, OR
* Sunday, January 22th from 12:00 - 2:00 pm
* Transportation to and from Salem, OR (combined event with Portland
Athletes)
Ski and Snowboard with Oregon Adaptive Sports
* Saturday, January 28th from 9:30 am- 12:00 pm

all events, but there are limited spots due to equipment availability and
