[NFBO-Linn-benton] bus to convention

Hi All,

 

The State Affiliate is contracting for a commercial size Greyhound-style bus that will stop in Albany.  They have a driver for it.  If we want to take private cars from the Chapter it sounds like we have room for 3 with John and Carolyn.  If we have more riders we can take my Pilot and we need a driver for that who does not need a CDL and we can fit a total of 8 without luggage.  Comfortable seating with luggage would be 5.

Jennifer, you do not need a commercial license up to 12 (maybe even 16, not sure I remember exactly) passengers. Renting a 12 passenger van for a weekend is possible.

Shawn not a bus driver but he drove a bus in Afghanistan.

 

I'll be going to the convention and so will he, he could probably drive but he doesn't have a commercial drivers license and idk if bus drivers need a special license.
