6:31 Brief introductions - please say your name and NFB role when asked by

can have in our organization!
6:38 GuestPresentation and Discussion, Grant Livingston
My name is Grant Livingston, and I work as a civil engineer and project
manager with the City of Corvallis. I learned about the NFB because my wife
is colleagues with Ashley Neybert at OSU, and we met at 4 Spirits Distillery
for the coloring book event; my two children James and David were present.
One of my areas of work is transportation projects that involve ADA
sidewalks, ramps, and street crossings. I am not being paid for this
meeting, nor am I here on official business, I'm here as a resident of
Corvallis seeking to help improve the way we build infrastructure.
I have heard of user groups in other cities that help inform the design of
ADA facilities. I'm interested in helping to facilitate a partnership
between the City and the NFB. I'm not sure what this looks like at this
time, or how to go about this process, but I'm wondering if any of you have
experience with something like this, or if we could discuss what this
partnership would look like. I have some preliminary ideas to discuss about
what this could look like. Once I have an idea of what you have to offer, I
will discuss with my superiors with the City to determine if this
partnership is something we can formalize.
