Hello,
We helped get funding for this park by writing a letter in support of the
City's grant application. Is anyone available to attend the planning
session on March 3?

COMING SOON: AVERY PARK INCLUSIVE PLAYGROUND!
We value your experience, passion and knowledge and trust that together we
can build an incredible (and first!) inclusive park playground for the
Corvallis Community.
With construction planned for Fall 2023 - we want to hear from YOU! What
MUST be included in this inclusive playground design?!
We would like to invite you to join in discussing the needs for the planned
Avery Park Inclusive Playground project.
"Intentional inclusive design is all about providing a play environment
where every child can find their "just right" fit at all ability levels.
It's a space of variety, choice, challenge, risk and opportunity - all rich
in sensory play that encourages kids to play and problem-solve together.
inclusion looks different in every community and should be a product of the
voices of the users." Jill Moore, former Paralympian for Team USA
Please join us at Avery Park and the Parks & Recreation Administrative
Building
1310 SW Avery Park Drive on March 3rd from 12 pm - 2 pm
Lunch included - please RSVP by 2/21 to

A second meeting will be planned for April to share the playground design
and renderings based on the collective feedback of this gathering.
