Hello again,

Please consider participating in the below study.  It is sponsored by the
Federal Transportation Department and could have an impact on accessibility
to autonomous vehicles in the future.

This is a recruitment flyer for research studies at Oregon State University
titled Additional Considerations for Making Automated Driving System (ADS)
Vehicles Accessible for All Road Users.

 

Seeking Paid Volunteers for Research Studies.

 

The purpose of this research study is to make Automated Driving System (ADS)
vehicles safer for pedestrians with disabilities.

 

To participate in one of the studies, you must identify as having a visual,
hearing, and/or mobility disability, and be at least 18 years old.

 

Participation is entirely voluntary and involves a time commitment of
approximately 60 minutes and either coming to the Oregon State University
Driving and Bicycling Simulator Lab (3550 SW Jefferson Way, Corvallis, OR
97330), and wearing three light-weight wearable devices, or, a time
commitment of approximately 60 minutes, coming to the Oregon State
University Cognition and Action in Real and Virtual Environments Laboratory
(2550 SW Jefferson Way, Corvallis, OR 97330), and wearing a virtual reality
(VR) headset.

This study has been approved by the Oregon State University Institutional
