Interesting, you are not just the leader of LB chapter but also your business. And I am a leader of ViewPlus. Wonder if those are included as disability-led organizations?

However nor here nor there. On March 11 I am in Anaheim, CA attending CSUN.

Hi Kristen,

I hope this note finds you well. My name is Michelle, and I’m helping to plan a series of focus groups with disability-led organizations across Oregon to gather feedback on a draft universal health plan for Oregon. We want to ensure the plan reflects the real experiences, priorities, and access needs of people with disabilities throughout the state.

I’d like to invite you or someone from the Linn Benton Chapter of the National Federation of the Blind Oregon to join one of these sessions:

Date: March 11
Time: 3:00–4:30 p.m.
Format: Virtual / Remote

The session will be interactive and structured to make sharing feedback easy and meaningful. Materials will be shared in advance so participants have time to review and prepare questions or input. We are committed to full accessibility and welcome any accommodation requests to support participation.

If this is of interest, I’d be happy to provide more details and answer any questions. Your chapter’s perspective would be invaluable in shaping a plan that works for blind and low-vision Oregonians.

Thank you for your time and consideration.
