Very awesome, Andrea!  Small world thing about yesterday - I  was literally telling a  DAB driver about you yesterday when you sent this out.  His daughter works for Guide Dogs in San Rafael.  Some of you will know the driver - Yigal.  Anyway, I wastelling him that you've been waiting for a while and that I was hoping you'd be called soon.  So now I  think it is super cool you got connected at the California location!  I'd say its one of those "meant to be" circumstances!  Congratulations!

Great to hear Andrea. Interesting that they are sending you to California instead of Boring. Probably a capacity problem - nothing else makes much sense.

Hello Linn Benton Family,

I have exciting news.

I got the call to train with a new guide dog.

I will start training on February 8 and will graduate on February 21.

Guide Dogs for the Blind will be sending me to San Rafael, California to train instead of Boring, Oregon.  I can send the link to the live stream graduation when it comes out in case people want to watch it.
