Things are coming together. Today Carolyn and I bought 25 four foot garden stakes to support the maze tapes that are supposed to be supplied. The cost was less than a hamburger in Las Vegas. <o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:12.0pt'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:12.0pt'>I did some experimenting and found them non-trivial to pound into the ground, though it will be easier if I can find my sledge hammer. But after some experimentation, I took my portable drill out with a one inch hole saw and bored a wonderful one inch hole that the stakes pound easily into. It was too shallow so I attached the drill to a 12 inch extension and can now drill a one inch hole in the earth halfway to China. I will have it on Sunday with an extra battery just in case. I think we can get that maze set up in record time. I will have a stapler to attach the ribbon to the stakes, but I think I’ll bring some strapping tape too.
