[NFBO-Springfield] October 15, 2022 National Federation of the Blind of Ohio Springfield Chapter Agenda

My how time flies. Fall is in the air, and yes Halloween is just around the
corner. But before its time for trick or treating and all sorts of good
candy, we have our October 15, 2022 National Federation of the Blind
October 2022 monthly chapter meeting. Our meeting will be at the
Springfield Public Library Gaier Room, 201 South Fountain Ave.,
Springfield, Ohio. But due to room scheduling conflicts we will be meeting
at 1:30 P.M. instead of our normal morning meeting time. So make sure you
come for the right meeting time - 1:30 P.M., not our usual time.  Below is
the agenda for tomorrow's meeting. MInutes of the September meeting will be
sent in a separate email later this evening or early tomorrow. And remember
tomorrow just happens to be White Cane Awareness Day.


Agenda:


1. Repeat NFB pledge and brand



2. Reports, (secretary, treasurer)



3. Elections



4. Revisit chapter name change, (national language first).


5. White Cane Awareness Day


6. National Federation of Blind of the Blind of Ohio Community Service
Division community service project.


7. State convention, (checks written for door prizes, members attending,
transportation, auction, money for NFB Ohio.



8. Final planning for Mother Stewarts, (remember, no chapter meeting
scheduled before November 12).



9. Subscriptions to NFB-net lists revisited



10. Presidential Release, (chapter version)



11. Next meeting, November 19, 2022
