Greetings to All,

I realize this note comes to you a bit late. It came up on my calendar this
evening so I am just now passing it on. It will be held tomorrow, July 18,
from 1:00 to 4:00 at the American Legion Post, 7001, Brayton Drive, in
Anchorage. It is a potluck and will be held outside with his musician
friends doing what he loved most; making music.

In February of 2020, the NFB of Alaska had a fund raiser and Tom and his
band, the 'Nuther Brothers played for our event. Their music was wonderful
and brought a lot of joy to all who attended. At that time, Tom was
incredibly generous and returned half the money we paid them to the
affiliate. We were so grateful to he and his friends!

Tom has also been instrumental in our most recent efforts to bring NewsLine
permanently to Alaska. If I could say anything to him, it would be, "Thanks
for your momentous efforts. We are not giving up!"

I apologize for the late timing of this note. His family has asked that
financial gifts be given to the Alaska Center for the Blind and visually
Impaired.

Warm Regards,

Bonnie

The National Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not the
characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the
expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles
between blind people and our dreams. You can live the life you want;
blindness is not what holds you back.
