Greetings to All!

 

Sometimes it's a little difficult coming up with ideas for our support group
but I'm happy to say that eventually they come, and we can always repeat any
that you might like to do again. Every time we cover a topic new information
is shared by either a participant or the presenter. So, thanks for all you
do to make our group a success. 

 

Speaking of success, Jacqueline Daniels attended our lovely presentation
from Stacy at the Botanical Gardens. She had been a gardener in the past and
felt that since losing her vision, she could not garden anymore. However,
Stacy's presentation gave her the courage to try again. She sent us a
picture of her "Trash Gardening," success. It will be on our Facebook page
shortly. 

 

Topics for this month will be:

May 12, more about the senses, Presenter Bonnie Lucas

May 19, all about Vaccines and COVID, presented by the department of Human
Development and Social Service (HDSS)

May 26, Another Hadley Video (TBA), with another staff member conducting the
support group as I will be traveling out of state.
