Greetings to all,
Here we are in the delightful, autumn month of October! Hope you are doing
well despite the dramatic uptake in COVID numbers. We miss having you at the
Center. We look forward to the day when our support groups will enjoy one
another's company! Stay well and please join us in the Zoomisphere! I would
love to help you get connected so don't hesitate to write or call. (See the
information below.
October Support Groups:
* 10/13/2021, Wednesday 1:00 PM: Presentation on Brain Health from the
Alzheimer's Resource Center of Alaska. I assure you, there will be some
incredible information presented for everyone at this event.
* 10/20/2021, Wednesday, October 20 1:00 PM: Celebration of the white
cane. October 15 has become known as "White Cane Day. Elijah and Bonnie will
be doing a presentation on the topic and we hope you can all join us, on
Zoom of course. Trivia, stories, games, and useful information to be shared!
* 10/27, Wednesday, 1:00 PM: No matter the time of year or the
location, we all must eat. Come join us to talk about healthy nutrition,
true facts and myths and good ideas to help everyone feel better,
Presentation by Bonnie Lucas.

the Blind of Alaska for our annual State Convention. The dates of the
convention are October 15 and 16, Friday and Saturday. The event is
