[NFBofAlaska] Disability Pride Event Question

Hi Wava and all!
The activity on Saturday begins at 11 AM and ends at 2:00 PM. One thing I
neglected to mention is that we will need to bring our own table and chairs.
I do have a table and couple or three chairs. However, if it is raining, I
do not have a shelter unless my husband is aware of something. Because
Braille paper does not do well with rain, I expect that I won't come if it
is raining. However, I will do my best to have a better idea tomorrow night.
Just know that if it is raining a lot at about 10:00, it is likely that I
won't planning on attending. I wish I could be more clear!

Hello All,

As mentioned before, this is an opportunity for us to hang with other folks
with disabilities and to show our appreciation for the ADA (Americans with
Disabilities Act), passed on July 26, 19990. There will be food available
and a ribbon cutting will happen at 1:00 as some accessible play equipment
has been added to the playground at this park. Whether you can come for the
entire event, or a short time will be great. My first email had the address
incorrectly.

Hope to see many of you there! If it is raining a lot that morning, I may
not attend,  and if I do not, I will send an email out by 9:00 on Saturday
morning.
