Subject: [nrtc-at-study] Recruitment reopened for employed group

Hello!

We have completed data collection for Survey 2 with our current employed
participants - thank you to all who have participated! We are opening
recruitment again to find a few more people for our employed group. Do you
know of anyone who is blind or has low vision living in the U.S. or Canada,
21 years or older, who is working at least 15 hours/week? If so, please
share the link below to our screening survey for interested participants.

In other news, we presented findings from our first surveys at the AER
(Association for Education and Rehabilitation of the Blind and Visually
Impaired) Conference in St. Louis last week. We had a large audience
(standing room only) and the professionals in attendance were very
interested in the results. AccessWorld published a short story about the
results of the first survey in its May 2022 issue, available at

https://www.afb.org/aw/23/5/17939. We also developed a manuscript describing
results from the first employed survey for a peer-reviewed journal, which is
currently in review.

Please let me know if you have questions about the study, suggestions for
the surveys, or ideas about how to help us spread the word about the study
(m.mcdonnall at msstate.edu <mailto:m.mcdonnall at msstate.edu> ).

Take care,
