You need to use your index finger and thumb and do a twisting gesture on the Apple TV remote touchpad area. And you should be able to switch through different options on your rotor and that will get you out of the speaking rate option. After you are on a different rotor option, you should be able to scroll left and right and up and down. I have had some issues with this in the past where it wouldn’t let me scroll down on the screen, but I can’t remember which rotor option I was on that would let me do you up and down.
