On Saturday, October 29, 2016 between 10:00 AM and 4:00PM the Governor
Morehead School Alumni Association, with support of the City of Raleigh
Mayor’s Committee for Persons with Disabilities, will be hosting a
community informational resource seminar focusing on home ownership and
rights of persons with disabilities to fair housing. This seminar is open
to individuals with disabilities, leaders of consumer and advocacy
organizations of persons with disabilities and individuals from the general
public. Specifically, you will have an opportunity to learn about available
programs designed to facilitate the understanding and navigation of the
home ownership process, learn your rights and responsibilities to fair
housing and learn about available resources that can enhance the full
integration of persons with disabilities into community life.

The seminar presentations will be held on the Governor Morehead School
Campus located at 301 Ashe Avenue, Raleigh, NC, in the auditorium in
Lineberry Hall. Following the seminar presentations, lunch will be provided
free of charge in the GMS Weathers-Hill Dining Hall. If you plan to attend
these seminar presentations and you desire to partake of lunch, it is
necessary that you contact me in order to register for lunch no later
than October
27, 2016. To register, so that we can have an accurate count of those
desiring lunch, you should contact Ricky Scott at (919) 673-8300, or send

have lunch onOctober 29, 2016 following the seminar session.
