iPod, iPad or iPhone.

NFB-NEWSLINE MOBILE APP on YOUR IOS device 

Are you currently using the NFB-NEWSLINE Mobile App on your iPhone, iPad, or
iPod?  If yes, do you have questions on the many different functions of the
app?  If you are not currently using this wonderful app,  Here is your
opportunity to learn more! 

 

Just dial up, enter the meeting ID, announce yourself and join your South
Carolina neighbors who want to become more proficient with or begin to use
the FREE NFB-NEWSLINE MOBILE APP!!!  You will be able to read the Columbia
State, Post and Courier, Myrtle Beach Sun News, and many other newspapers
from around the world.  Also available are magazines related to technology,
health, sports and many other categories!  With fall approaching, you know
what this means?  College and the NFL begin their football season.  With the
NFB-NEWSLINE Mobile app, you can find out broadcast times when your favorite
team is playing on Saturday or Sunday.  

 

Mr. Scott White, Director of Sponsored Technology Programs, for the National
Federation of the Blind and Steve Cook with the SC Commission for the Blind
will be hosting a two hour training session free of charge to South Carolina
NFB-NEWSLINE subscribers. 

 

Dial up and have your iDevice ready to learn everything you ever wanted to
know about using the NFB-NEWSLINE Mobile App. Mr. White will address issues
such as selecting and managing your favorite publications, learn navigation
gestures to quickly move around the app including the use of the Rotor for
easy article access, learn to effectively negotiate the TV Listings, and
much more.
