Seminars at Hadley Presents: Low Vision Focus Presents: Vision Loss Support Groups Part 1
Date: Thursday, April 21, 2016
Time: 10:30 AM CDT; 15:30 GMT
Starting and maintaining a vision loss support group can be an enriching and rewarding experience. Good preparation and planning are essential elements for future support group leaders to be effective.
Join Seminars at Hadley as support group expert Polly Abbott, CVRT, OMS, Director of Rehabilitation Services at Second Sense, and Ed Haines, Hadley Instructor, discuss the elements that make up a successful group. In this first session of a two-part series, aspiring support group leaders will learn about what questions to ask before beginning and marketing the group, assessing membership needs and ensuring their group is off to a great start.
Ed Haines, member of the Seminars at Hadley team, also will moderate this 60-minute webinar. A question and answer session will be included as part of the seminar.
This seminar is an audio-only presentation. Space in this seminar is limited. Please only register if you know you are available to attend so that others are not closed out.
