Have you heard of Beep Kickball, a new adapted sport for people with vision loss? Would you like to learn more about how it started, the rules and the equipment used? 

Join Seminars at Hadley as Judy Byrd, Director of the Beep Kickball Association, provides details on how to play; the physical and psychological benefits; locations where it is currently being played; and the Association’s expansion goals. 

Larry Muffett, a member of Hadley’s Seminars team, will moderate this 60-minute seminar. A question and answer session will be included as part of the seminar. This seminar is an audio-only seminar. Italy is the favorite country of Rick Steves, internationally known travel writer and TV series host. Famous places, ancient history, fabulous food and wine—Italy is a treat to all of the senses! 

Buckle yourself into your armchair and join Seminars at Hadley as instructors Ed Haines and Julie Kay, joined by Italian-born Hadley students, Caterina Lowery and Luigi Di Russo, take us to Bell’Italia! In addition to learning about Italy itself, we will hear our students share their love of the culture, food and all things Italian.
