Subject: Blind Midnight Riders support the Charleston James Island Connector
Ride!

Dear Friends,

On October 22, 2016, I will be joining forces with many blind tandem
cyclists and their sighted pilots at the Charleston/James Island Connector
Run and Ride which raises scholarship money to enable disabled students to
attend their local Charleston area college. Our team, known as the Midnight
Riders, connects experienced bikers with blind persons who want to share in
the joy of movement. There is no finer symbol of cooperation and
achievement than the tandem racing bike! By working together, we go further
and faster than we can alone.

Please help us to raise the funds for this worthwhile event by sending any
financial support you can! All donations go to the Gavalas Kolanko
Foundation, which hosts the race/ride.

You can participate by registering or donate by visiting their web page:

http://www.jicrun.com/the-course/

If you prefer to write out a check, it should be made out to the Gavalas
Kolanko Foundation. You can mail them to me and I will personally hand them
to Nick Gavalas.

My address is:

Peter A. Smith
411 Meeting Street, Apt 2102
Charleston, SC 29403

Please email your friends, or put us on your Facebook page, Twitter or other
social media and spread the word!
Many thanks and hear y'all soon!
