[Nfbofsc] Self-Defense Class, Thank you!

Hello!

 

I want to thank  all of you who came out to support and participate in our
self-defense class at the Center on Saturday! Nanci Francis and her husband
Jeff did an awesome job demonstrating real-life techniques through hands on
approach. They showed how to get out of situations and various approaches to
use to defend ourselves.

 

Nanci said, "You guys have been the best class we have taught." Both her and
Jeff had a fantastic time and we clearly made them work for every punch and
kick.

 

We are planning another class in March. If you were not able to attend, but
would like to come to the next class, please let me know by sending me an
email or calling me. The $10 for two hours was well worth it and a fantastic
opportunity for all of us!

 

Our next class will focus a lot on ground work. Nanci says that
unfortunately, in most situations, it will be taken to the ground and we
need to know how to defend ourselves once we are there. She will bring mats
for that class.

 

I look forward to seeing those of you who participated return and new faces
as well!
