Dear chapter Presidents,

 

Rocky Bottom Children's Camp will be held June 25-July 1, 2017 for children
who are blind ages 6-16. It costs between $5,000 and $6,000 to hold a
successful camp each summer. Funds raised will help purchase food for 50
campers and volunteers, trailer to haul supplies to camp, accessible items
for the campers and various planned outings.

 

As director of Children's Camp, I am asking your chapter to please consider
making a monetary donation to Rocky Bottom Children's camp for 2017 to
offset some of the expenses. Checks can be made to Rocky Bottom Children's
Camp and sent to, The Federation of the Blind, Attention Jennifer Bazer, 119
S. Kilbourne Road, Columbia, SC 29205. 

 

I appreciate your consideration to assist children who are blind in South
Carolina have a fun and educational camp experience for 2017!
