I think a 3d map of SCSDB could be cool too

I would think landmarks like Ft. Sumter in Charleston, maybe topigraphical maps of places like battlefields from the revolutionary war so they could be shown battles, etc. i would also think other features like the mountains, foothills, midlands, coastal areas so they could see the differences.
Billy says maps, maybe a puzzle of the counties, a 3-D model of the Statehouse, historical landmarks, 3d maps of colleges, the commission, major tourist attractions, etc.

Perhaps a few of the more important State parks. Not all of them. Maybe at least one that is more blind friendly or could be made more accessible with some NFB direction.
Question: how many points on the map would be considered a reasonable number? How many maps are planned?

Yes, to many to add all to map, what is the most important to blind citizens since it is made for them?

We have a lot of parks in South Carolina.
In fact, there are
43 State Parks
6 State Forests
3 State Fish Hatcherys
3 National Forests
1 National Historic Site
4 National Wildlife Refuges
Each has its own unique opportunities for camping, fishing, fresh air, boating, hiking, picnicing, walking trails, and the normal wonderful things you can do in nature out from the city and in a protected environment. Great for family, friends, and group outings. Mix in some bugs and wildlife, and you have a great South Carolina experience that many don't know about or experience.
As I typed this, I felt like a travel bureau agent.
Give this idea some thought.

Hi All,
Which Educational/Historical locations in South Carolina would you like to see on a 3D map for kids to learn about our state? A person would move their fingers around the 3D map and when they touch a sensor in the map. You will hear a recording about that location of the state.
