We are honored to host this enthusiastic and talented group of students from Lemira Elementary School in Sumter, SC. Created from a grant to enhance the school's musical curriculum and to promote cultural awareness of other countries, this student ensemble performs in various musical styles. These include classical, Taiko, Latin American, Jazz, drumline, while utilizing unique instruments such as boomwhackers, pipes, buckets, and trash cans.

Tech Tuesday: Fun and Educational Tech Toys Session to be Held Nov. 28

"Tech Tuesdays" is a free learning session held at the State Library's newly designed Learning Lab and is open to the general public. Need help with your holiday shopping? How about learning more about toys that are both educational and fun? This session highlights the educational benefits of technology toys by teaching participants how to use and learn from devices including Sphero, Anki Drive Ai, Drones, and 3D modeling and printing, and more.
