Hay Jim:

 

I thought Ike's story about the speakers and receiver in the middle of the
street, and the cops stopping them, and Fred with no ID was the best one I
heard last night.  Pat and I think the world of Fred and we wouldn't have
been anywhere else last night.

To all of you who came out on yesterday evening to take part in the Fred
Vercher memorial dinner, for the stories, some I'd forgotten, some I'd never
heard, and others I relived through them being told, and for those of you
who didn't tell a story but you cared enough to be there, I simply say thank
you. This would have meant so much to Fred to know that his friends set
aside and spent time to remember him. 

Again, I say thanks!!!
