Dear NFB Family & Friends,

 

Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you. (John 14: 27)

 

It is with deep and profound sorrow to announce the passing of the Sumter
Chapter of the National Federation of the Blind of South Carolina, President
Emeritus Ralph Cowley, 95. He passed, Tuesday, May 15, 2018.

 

He faithfully served as President of the Sumter Chapter of the National
Federation of the Blind of South Carolina from 1993 until 2001.

 

Ralph which he preferred to be called was an outstanding president and his
leadership grew the chapter and improve the quality of life for so many
individuals in the community.

Bullock Funeral Home of Sumter is in charge of arrangements.

 

Visitation will be Friday from 6 to 8 pm at Bullock Funeral Home. The
Funeral will be Saturday at 4 pm at Bullock Funeral Home with internment
following at Evergreen Cemetery. 

 

In lieu of flowers please make your donations payable to: NFB Sumter
Chapter, P. O. Box 641, Sumter, SC 29151.

 

This request for "Lieu of Flowers" is from his son, Doug Cowley.

 

Sumter Chapter members please indicate in this E-mail; if you need
transportation. Otherwise; please meet with us and the family at the funeral
home on Friday and Saturday.
