[Nfbofsc] Sharing: Information for "Wait Until Dark" film screening at RCPL

When: Wed. June 6 from 6:00-8:30pm 

 

Where: Richland County Public Library Main Branch | 1431 Assembly St. 29201
| Second floor theatre 

 

Parking:  The parking lot behind the library is open again after
construction!  Drivers can pass the library's Main Entrance on Assembly St.
and turn right onto Washington St.  There are free parks on the right.behind
the library.  There is an accessible ramp and stairs that lead to a back
door.  The back door is on the Hampton St. side of the building.  Once
inside, navigate right to the elevators/escalators and go to the second
floor. 

 

What: As part of the "Not Like Me" film festival, RCPL is screening "Wait
Until Dark" a film from 1967 starring Audrey Hepburn. No spoilers here...but
the star of the film is a "World Champion Blind Lady".   Frank & Shelley
Coppel and Cali Sandel will  introduce the film and facilitate a discussion
afterwards.  COME SEE US! It's free and open to the public!

 

For those who are blind/low vision, I've attached a synopsis of the plot
line.  There are some action scenes with very little dialogue.  If you don't
