Good Evening Federationists and Rocky Bottom Friends!

Through support from chapters, members, boy scout troops, churches, Lions'
Clubs and many, many more, we have made repairs and improvements to Rocky
Bottom, as well, as raised money to help offset some needed costs.

As you may have seen in the Positive Note, President Coppel mentioned the
$541 raised in a very short period of time by 20 seniors during senior camp
while at Rocky bottom for a new commercial appliances in the kitchen in the
Conference Center.

President Coppel is asking all of us to assist in any way we can to raise
the much needed funds for this project. If these items are obtained through
in-kind or monetary donations, we can resume renting the commercial kitchen
which will provide income for Rocky bottom.

Ways we can help:

Sharing these needs with our friends and family.

Sharing these needs with local businesses we visit or are familiar with.

Making cold calls to tell our story and ask for contributions.

Sending letters and following up with phone calls.

This of course, doesn't end with our appliance project, but with other needs
at Rocky Bottom.

Do you like talking to people on the phone?

Do you like talking to people in person?

Do you like writing?

Do you have ideas?

Do you want to continue to enjoy Rocky Bottom? Visit with your chapters,
your friends? Your family?

If you said, "yes" to even one of the statements above, please contact me to
use your gifts and talents to help Rocky bottom support itself, be
self-supporting again! We cannot afford to give up on Rocky bottom! We
cannot afford to let it go! We can work fervently to obtain in-kind and
monetary donations, paying rentals, grants, corporate supporters, and
continued community volunteers!

I want to continue offering a camp for blind children and youth, a camp for
blind seniors, camp for all the blind of SC and nationally, and a camp for
all to enjoy! I want my children, Cade and Kaylin to remember fun times at
Rocky Bottom as I did as a child and now, as an adult. And, I know you all
want the same for you, for your children and grand-children and friends and
family!!!

Please join me in working together to make a huge and fast impact for Rocky
Bottom, which means, for us, continuing today in a bigger and faster way.

Just because the mountain of challenges seem steep and rocky, doesn't mean
we cannot surmount and conquer the obstacles. We will change these obstacles
into opportunities. We will continue to "PUSH" pray until something happens.
One team; one goal. Together, we will be and do better. We will not let
Rocky Bottom go!!!!

My NFB Family, Rocky Bottom is in dire need. Let's not see the doors closed.
Let's talk. Tell me what you can and want to do to help!!!

Kind Regards,

Jennifer Bazer,
