Subject: [NFBofSC] Looking for friends who attended Cedar Springs back in
the 1960s and 1970s and later worked for the SC vending stand programs, who
no one knows where they are
Hello!
I, James Robinson, attended Cedar Springs in the 1960s and 1970s and later
attended Spartanburg High High School and was very close to most of the
students at Cedar Springs. A few of our fellow Cedar Springs alumni have
not been heard from in many years and I am curious to know whatever happened
to them and would like to know how they are doing. I have lived in Southern
California for many years and don't get back to Greenwood County, where I am
from, so I don't get many opportunities to contact many of my former Cedar
Springs alumni members so I am calling upon my South Carolina friends to
obtain this info on these friends for me. Thank you in advance for any info
you can provide n these people.
I am wondering if anyone knows of the whereabouts of a few friends who
attended Cedar Springs with me (James Robinson) and later worked for the SC
Vending Stand program, including James Peterson and Ronnie Logan, who also
at some point and may still work for the SC vending stand program; Lee Roy
Gainey, who attended Spartanburg High School with me; George Cherry, who
also attended Cedar Springs and attended USC for a while and previously
lived in Rock Hill, SC; James Arthur and Flamingo Cohen, who attended Cedar
Springs with us and lived in the Clinton area of Lawrence County, and Mary
Kay Harmon, who attended Cedar Springs and lived in Columbia, SC. No one I
ask seems to know the whereabouts of any of these people so I am hoping
someone on this list know the whereabouts of some or all of these people.
I, along with many other former Cedar Springs student , had a close
relationship with these people and would like to know how they are doing or
where they are now residing. We, at Cedar Springs, were very close with
each other and like family members and I just want to know whatever happened
to my long-time friends and "sisters and brothers."
If anyone has any info on any of these people, do put the info on this list
in case they want to divulge their current whereabouts and life status. If
these people don't want to be found or identified, then I'll have to accept
that, but I really would like to know if anyone can shed light on our
long-time friends' whereabouts.
Sincerely,
James Robinson
