THE VISION INSTITUTE OF SOUTH CAROLINA
Calendar of Events
The 2019-2020 year is in full swing!
Our school aged students returned in August from summer vacation so our teachers for the visually impaired, orientation & mobility specialists, and braille transcribers are actively teaching, transcribing, and caring.
iCanConnect consumers are learning new technologies to improve distance communication so our trainers are traversing the state to provide personalized training.
Our independent living program has grown exponentially! Because of the incredible generosity of donors, we will be offering at least twenty events at no cost to participants during the 2019-2020 year. We will be offering three types of events: “Lunch and Learn”, “Community Resource Sessions”, and “Ask the Trainer”.
