It is to be noted that Dominic Calabrese of Columbia, a member of the NFB of
SC's At Large Chapter, whose article about the Lighthouse Clock appeared in
the Summer 2020 edition of the Palmetto Blind, recently was recognized by
the Chicago media at NBC Sports Chicago Studio in the below excerpt:

"Dominic Calabrese, former president of the Publicity Club of Chicago, has
endowed a scholarship at Columbia College in memory of his mother. The
Elizabeth Frances Calabrese Memorial Scholarship will be awarded annually to
students who are blind or have other disabilities. The endowment coincides
with the 30th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act. Dominic
Calabrese, who was a longtime adjunct professor at Columbia College and
senior vice president of public relations for the nonprofit Chicago
Lighthouse, now lives in Columbia, South Carolina."

If you have an interest in supporting this special scholarship endowment or
applying for the scholarship when it becomes available, I suggest that you
contact Dominic at domcalabrese at aol.com.
